What is the Music Discovery Experience

The Music Discovery Experience (MDE) is a Rewards Program for customers of the Music Discovery Network (MDN) that take an active role in supporting independent music, artists and the industry. Valuable Points are earned for making purchases through the MDN Store, for completing Activities and participating in Events. The Points may be used to purchase rewards from the MDN Store.

The more you participate, the greater number of rewards you are offered, and the greater percent discount you earn toward all purchases, including the rewards.

When your first join MDE, your membership is set to Reward Level I. That level entitles you to an additional discount off all purchases from the MDN Store, above and beyond what regular customers receive. Also, a special Rewards Level I purchasing category is activated when you sign in to your account in the MDN Store. You may use MDE Points to purchase items in the MDN Store, as well as special rewards only available to you as a Level I member. Further, you may purchase the rewards and other products at your Level I discount.

You attain higher Reward Levels by earning additional Points. Every Point you earn gets you closer to a new Reward Level with higher discounts and more rewards. One Point is earned for every dollar purchase you make through the MDN Store and additional Points are earned by completing MDE Activities and Events. Visit Help & Hints for more details.

Joining the Music Discovery Experience is Free. All you need to do is sign up for an account in the MDN Store and enter a special membership code. You are then automatically entitled to special VIP Level I discounts and you may begin earning Reward Points.

TO JOIN:

1) Select Sign Up

2) Read the Terms and Select Agree

3) Complete Account Application.

4) Log Into Your Account

5) Enter the Special Code Word -- GREATMUSIC -- at the end of your Account page and select Join..

6) When you visit the MDN Store, Sign In for VIP Discounts. You will see special prices for all items and rewards based on your specific Reward Level.

7) Visit Help & Hints often to learn the best way to get the most out of your membership and build your Points.

8) Watch your email. You will receive special news on regular occasions about point earning Activities and Events.
